Isabelle shivered, walking along the deserted road confidently, and almost arrogantly if you didn't know her any better. Her eyes scanned the area ahead cautiously every step she took. Taking a sharp turn left, she looked up at the tall iron gates that surrounded the local graveyard and with a sigh, she pushed one of the gates open and walked past, into the graveyard, biting her lip hesitant for the last time, and then headed determinedly over to the far right hand corner of the graveyard.
Dropping to her knees at a particular grave she let a tear slide down her face, brushing cobwebs off the tombstone, reluctant to do anything else, but then continued on, " Hey Mum..." Bella whispered quietly and the tears started flowing faster, " I miss you. Everything going on is crazy. Why did it kill you and leave me alive? The apocalypse took everyone we knew Mum... I wish... I wish it had taken me too..." Isabelle broke off suddenly, wiping her eyes and sitting, staring at the tombstone as if her deceased mother could help her with everything she wanted, needed advice or direction with. But the truth was, Bella would never have that again. From anyone let alone from just her mother.

The fog was heavy around the graveyard, but not thick. Although one was still able to see a hand on an outstretched arm, images began to fade at the distance of an outstretched leg. Here, there was no need to be on alert of anything. No one came here, or dove into it as deep as he did to his very spot.
Logan lazily sat on top of a rather large headstone and rest his back on the wall of a small family crypt. The graveyard was familiar to him. Almost inviting. Everything around him was in eternal slumber, and something inside him screamed that he too fell in the same state. Although, unlike them, he still was physically awake, with a never ending thirst. The simple thought made him angry.
Reaching into his sweater pocket, he pulled out a cigarette, and a lighter. It was the only thing he could do, or has found he could do, to keep himself calm from the thought of drinking. It was such a disgusting process, and he could not understand why the other vamps could take such a pleasure out of the act.
As he snapped the lighter to bring up a small flame and light the cigarette, he brought the smoke up to his mouth and took a long swig.
The silence of the graveyard let way for any and every small noise that could take place there. Which was why the opening of the gates was loud enough to almost make him fall from his place from the sudden disconcerting noise, but most disappointingly, his cigarette was the only that fell.
"Fan-tastic."

Bella let the tears fall faster and more freely fora few more minutes before wiping her eyes and standing up, brushing dirt off her legs and sighing, no one else was here that she could see and casually, as if she knew where she were going, Isabelle aimlessly wandered through the graveyard.
Surely not all of the bodies had been found after the apocalyptic shit went down. Or tombstones made for all of them. Hell, most of the now dead people probably didn't even have death certificates, that's how bad it was now. You pretty much had to fight to be fed, fight to live, fight for everything. Why couldn't people work together? It made sense if you asked Bella, of course no one did.
Isabelle's head snapped up as she heard someone near her and she stepped behind a tree quickly, letting the shade and size of the tree hide her from whoever- or whatever it was. Peeking around she saw a male, sitting on a tombstone. Bella frowned, thinking of how disrespectful that was, especially has a flung a cigarette to the ground.

The cigarette kept it's orange glow at it's tip for a few seconds before the fog swallowed it whole and let it go cold. Sure, Logan could always pull out another stick, but then the pack would very quickly lose all it's contents which would mean another trip to the tunnels. Man, did he loathe those tunnels enough not to pull out another smoke.
As he rolled his and breathed out a deep sigh, he noticed something faintly move from in front of him. Of course, it could have been his imagination, but he could have almost sworn that something was there. Lurking. Either way, he kept his stance, or more like his sit, just the way it had been before. Lazy and stretched across the stones.
"You know," he said aloud, "I just lost today's cigarette, so I'm not much in the mood for games. If you're there, come out in the open." He was containing his irritation for the loss of the stick, replacing it with a lethargic-like tone. "Seriously. I mean it."

Isabelle watched the cigarette fade out and pushed a strand of loose hair out of her face before stepping out in the open, in front of the guy. Bella stood, watching him and once again thinking of how disturbing it was the fact he was sitting on a tombstone. Although Bella being her usual quiet self, did not argue this point.
Looking him over, he was unnaturally goodlooking, in a boyish "I don't care about anything or anyone" kind of way. Another look from top to bottom of him, told her he was a lot taller than her and her was a vampire. Just what Bella needed. She sighed and then opened her mouth to say something, shutting it instantly- not knowing what to say.
Finally she lamely stuttered out, "H-hello." Before nearly kicking herself and blushing immensely. She looked to the left and then stepped over a fallen branch to lean against a wall, watching the vampire warily.

He saw the small figure come closer and rubbed his eyes some. Logan had not known what he had been expecting. Possibly a fellow vampire from Nabila? A wolf from those packs that were around? Whatever it had been, it wasn't her.
While he expected something ferocious or of big build, he instead was caught off guard by the presence that stood in front of him now. She was a dainty little thing to say the least. And it also seemed as if his being there came as a shock to her too. The girl was at a complete loss of words.
Not knowing what to do exactly, he put some effort into straightening himself out so he would be sitting up. He was still a little slouched, but it was something.
When she spoke her first word, he simply continued looking at her questioningly. "Hey," he replied in a short response waiting for her to say something else. She was an odd little thing. Human. He knew that much. She didn't reek of that horrible stench that a wolf carried. Her pulse was loud in his ears, vibrating his ear drums down to their very core, but he resisted any and all temptation for her blood.

Isabella watched a look of surprise flicker over the vampire's face and bit back a laugh, relaxing a little, "Did I shock you?" She asked cautiously, aware he could come after her any minute-even more so as a breeze passed through the graveyard, carrying her scent to him more. Bella concentrated and stopped any wind currents coming their way for now, and it instantly felt calmer through the graveyard. She prayed the vampire wouldn't notice.
She raised a delicate eyebrow at him straightening himself and then added, "If your trying to intimidate me, don't worry. I'm already scared enough with the fact you could be by my side in a millisecond and break my neck." Bella bit her lip and tried a little smile, failing and it turned into a small grimace.
"I'm Bella by the way.." She finished, unsure of whether to give him her name or not. Oh well. Too late now. He had no claim on her, he couldn't control her nor do anything to her if he had her name. He could probably just poke around inside her head for all the information he wanted anyway.

Raising an eyebrow, he went on to say, "Shocked? Of you? Yeah, I was shocked. Out of everything that can be lurking around these parts," he said as he lazily waved his hand around to nothing specifically, "it's a surprise that I bumped into something,... Or more like someone like you. Get where I'm coming from?"
"As far as the intimidation, not trying. If I'm doing so from just sitting here, you've got a problem." When she explained that it was the fact that he was a vampire that scared her he gave off a sigh and turned his icy gaze towards her. He had not asked anyone to turn him into this undead dead being he was now. If it were for him, he would've been alongside his son, wherever he was. Sure, he was only seventeen at the time, and one testosterone filled mistake had given him a child tht he was all but ready for, but that didn't mean that he didn't want his son, Halo. Ironic, that name. The fact that he was the being he was now took away any chance that he had from reuniting with him.
"Logan." he repeatedly curtly.

Bella laughed a little and relaxed even more so. "I s'pose your right," She admitted, "I guess you wouldn't expect a human to come walking about nonetheless." Isabelle shrugged, "I know exactly where you're coming from." She paused watching his stance get defensive.
"I was only stating." She said cautiously. Bella would rather not be turned into a meal today that's for sure. Logan. That was his name? He surely didn't look like a Logan. Although most arrogant people were called Logan, and here he was already making Bella think he was arrogant. Maybe it was how he held himself? Or how he talked? She couldn't quite put her finger on it.
"Nice to meet you. I guess?" She replied, making her answer an unintentional question and then not bothering to correct herself.

Knowing he had began taking out his frustration on the girl that just happened to cross his path, he brought up his calloused hand to the nape of his neck and began rubbing it.
"Look, I'm sorry for taking my problems out on you. It's just that," he began saying, not sure if he should end what he began. It probably wasn't a good idea. Taking bad about the Nabila vampires he meant. If it was one thing they were to the very core, it was proud. Why they saw it that way beat him. He would give sweat blood and tears in order to go back to being a simple human.
Bringing his gaze back to the girl, he then rethought what he had been thinking just a moment or two ago. Maybe she wasn't the reason why he couldn't see Halo, but there was a reason why she made him angry. She was human. A living, breathing, blood-pumping human.
His expression turned from that of hurt, to that of yearning. Within a blink of an eye, he was off the headstone he had just been on, and right behind her. Logan could smell the bittersweet smell of the red gold that travelled all throughout her system.
"Maybe..." he began as he inched his face closer to her neck, as he took a calloused hand and pulled on her sweater some to expose more of her warm flesh, "you should be scared."

Isabelle opened her mouth, ready to reply, before shutting it. He had never finished saying what he had started, instead he was suddenly behind her, she spun around quickly. Logan had taken over Bella's whole view and she sarcastically muttered, "Oh lovely." and then added, "I'm not scared." And she wasn't. Bella looked Logan full in the eye, shivering from his touch and the fact it was cool out.
"I'm rather... shocked, if you please, but scared? No." She whispered, knowing he'd hear regardless of the volume of her voice. He was going to feed on her, or he was going to kill her or... other things sprung to Bella's mind, although she pushed those away and settled on either her first or second thought.
She bit her lip, still looking up at him carefully and wondering if he tried to feed on her, what it would be like trying to change the weather to make it so hot he'd fry. Bella almost laughed at the thought, but then brushed it off.

Logan stared back at her when she had turned around to meet his gaze and challenged him saying that she wasn't scared. His eyes narrowed as he analyzed the girl. Bella. As he analyzed Bella. Instead of having an expression of fear on her face, she held one of being amused instead. What could be SO funny when her life hung from a thread and he held the scissors that could just as easily end it?
"You mean to tell me," he said as he slowly began smirking at her, "that you're not the least bit scared? Even though I could tear your flesh with a single nip of my teeth?" he said this as he let his fingers travel down her neck and onto her shoulder with a delicate graze while his eyes followed along the trail he set. "Or twist your pretty little neck?" he continued letting his eyes settle on hers now, all the while he brought up both of his calloused hands to frame her neck gently. "Let us not forget that you have what I need to live. I could simply feast on your blood and drain you from your life source entirely. Trust me, it is quite peaceful to go in such a way" he ended as he gently tilted her head exposing her delicate neck.
Her traveling thoughts amused him some. "What?" he said hurt under pretense. "You don't want to help me find a suiting quietus? But I was having fun peering into your thoughts" he continued. "Oh. I know what it is. You lost your train of thought, yes?" he said mischievously. "Well, because I'm such a gentleman, let me help you. You began with, my feeding on you, correct? Then it was a kill that you believe I would go for, but wait," he said seemingly perplexed, "that's when you stopped yourself of any more thoughts." Letting the smirk that was on his face earlier gain back it's place on his face, he went on, "Now that I helped you remember, you can, oh so kindly, finish the rest of your thoughts. Hurry though, Bella, I'm not a patient man."
