Group Ranks
Leader
The leader of Nabila is born a royal vampire. At the start of her/his birth, and through childhood, they are heavily guarded, as most royal children are. The one to become leader is normally seen as a peace bearer, though plenty have strayed from that path. Trained in hand to hand combat, and taught to use one weapon, they're ready for battle if need be. Their duties during the day may include: attending "The Gathering", organizing supply patrols, attending (boring and non-boring) meetings. Living quarters are quite clean; this is a two room home with a single way in.
Companion
A companion has quite an easy and simple life if they want, and get to pick their own duties. They have guards at their command, plus plenty of civilians to do whatever they please. But remember, the leader will only let them get away with so much. Their duties may include: attending "The Gathering", completing jobs for the leader, planning events, organizing supply patrols, and attending meetings. Living with their partner, a companion may enjoy the painted walls, telling stories of leaders before their time of service. Here they may enjoy time alone, away from real life issues.
Royal
Being born a royal is rare, but a blessing here in Nabila, for they are protected. Royals normally live a long life, and if they're lucky they become a leader or companion. Some Royal members may have a business, run in the Silent Market, or a job of that nature, as it is passed down to their children. Duties as a Royal may include: attending meetings, doing the leaders bidding, making sure the lair is livable, planning events, population control. ect. A Royal is entitled to a small room in solitude, along with a bed and/or closets built into the wall as well as shelf storage. Not living alone? Then they are entitled to a slightly bigger room, with the same details.
Guards
Normally Nabila guards stay underground; they tend to patrol their groups territory looking for any trouble. They settle small disputes, if someone trespasses onto Nabila territory; the guards are the first to know. A guard may have a trade of some sort, a small way to make a living. Jobs may include: painting, wood carving, writing, playing an instrument, building/repairing objects, ect. Guards have the same living conditions as a civilian, but live a wealthier life. Walls in their rooms are painted with stories and pictures of battles from the past, whether it's their past or their family's. They only have a single room, but have built/cut beds in the wall to save space.
Civilian
The civilians of Nabila normally include a hand full of vampires, they earn their keep willingly, for now. They go on patrols for survival, in hopes of supplies that could be of use. Of course the civilians are allowed to keep/split their loot, though must keep in mind "The Gathering" is a daily process. They also can pick up the odd job from the population; normally a job like this would be delivering messages to other groups, or even to the city above. Civilians may have their own trade, but the group leader must agree first. This group's living conditions are tidy compared to other civilian quarters, with their curtain doors and painted walls. Instead of a grey dull wall, the civilian population of Nabila keep their walls painted with stories and pictures, some of the past and some that have not come to past yet.
