Group Income
The Bairns take full advantage of their powers, in all that they do; particularly, in providing for their clan. Those gifted with taming the earth can normally be found in the Outskirts of Bairn territory, lovingly growing and raising crops and livestock. This is the main source of income for the Bairns, as they are generally blessed with far more food than is needed to support the tribe, and can sell the rest at reasonable prices. As such, they have come to be known as the Agricultural Tribe, and any food sold by them is sure to be of top quality. Besides farming, they also rely on selling that which they scavenge, for a bit of extra income.
Ceremony of Vida
Once a month, the Bairns join together at the foot of the statue of Glen Fen, to embark on a night of feasting and celebration, in the Ceremony of Vida. That one night, life is celebrated to its fullest. Homages, laments and mourning for those moved on is side-by-side with feasting and cheering for those who've recently joined the Bairn tribe.
Government
A leader can be voted or born into the position, depending on the circumstances. Once a leader, however, your path isn't set in stone. The Bairn society may challenge an existing leader, leading to an election process, similar to that of the Labonitas. Each person is given one ballot, to which they write on the name of who they believe best represents them. Unlike the Labonitas, however, there are no set candidates: this often results in the ballots suggesting a multitude of different names for the leader position. If a prospect leader would like to have a better shot at earning a few extra votes, he/she must get his/her name out in the Bairn community. Actively challenging the ex-leader's principles, or holding a debate are just a few examples of the measures commonly taken. In general, however, the Bairns are content with their government, and the leader's power and responsibility passes from parent to firstborn.
Bairn Sword
Forged when the pack was made, the sword is handed down to each leader of the Bairn group. The name Bairn is not only the groups name, but it was the first leaders last name. The group is only successful today due to the early days of Bairn, he won plenty of battle with this weapon. For not only is it a sword, but for each leader to have the sword there power is increased. It will bring out any hidden power deep within you, this is to help protect your group. Remember the sword is power, do not let it control you.
Patrol
Bairn patrols are the main source of living for this group, all there supplies come from the city above. If in a group it would normally have a trusted leading the patrol, along with a couple civilians. If alone you are to take a weapon, this is for protection even if you have a gift to defend yourself with. Remember you may have a list of what the group needs, if not look for food, water, medical supplies, clothes and whatever you think is valuable these days.
