Entering the Nabila garden always made the future leader of Nabila relax, a feeling of safety surrounded her from head to toe. It felt like home here surrounded by herbs, but it was best when no one else was around. Though some company was ok at times, but Kaage could be herself when she was alone. She didn't have to keep up an appearance, or present herself in a certain way. Reaching up Kaage ran her fingers through her long dark hair, wondering which herb to start at. Slowly walking through the small dirt paths, making sure not to step on anything, Kaage bent over the mint. This sold at a high price, and was quite easy to grow and take care of. It demanded little attention, though all the herbs were given attention daily. There was always someone on duty, to watch over the herbs and tend to them when needed. Kaage made sure the garden thrived, the group lived of the garden and needed it to survive. Picking a few plants that were ready, Kaage sneezed knowing her nose was being over powered. Her eyes drifted up to seek out the painted walls around her, the paintings told stories about the herbs. They saved many lives, and Kaage had always loved hearing there history. Her mother had told her some of the stories, before she passed away and left her alone in this world.

Aslyn ran into the gardens laughing as she wiped the blood dripping down her chin from her latest kill. The body was still located in the tunnels where she was sure the family would find it, but she didn’t care about that. She was just happy that she’d been able to make a kill without being caught by anyone. It felt like it’d been so long since she’d been able to cave into her natural instincts. She always felt as if the others always tried to repress who they were, but not Aslyn. No. She proudly stated that she was a Nabila and she freely acted how she believed a Nabila should act.
As she turned around the column, Aslyn stopped in the middle of her tracks, the smile quickly vanishing form her face. Lifting up her hands she made sure there wasn’t anything on her mouth as she stood still in front of the Nabila leader. “Kaage,” she said slowly. Although she wasn’t sure if the leader knew who she was, after all she was a lowly civilian, Aslyn certainly knew who she was. Why she thought the gardens would be deserted was beyond herself.
“So what brings you here?” Aslyn asked nonchalantly as she glanced behind her hoping that no one angry families had followed her from the tunnels seeking revenge in front of her leader.

The sound of light footsteps could be heard, they kept getting closer to the Nabila garden by the second. Kaage didn't bother to smell the air, her nose would only pick up the mint in front of her. Picking up what she had gathered Kaage placed them in her small woven basket, she would make sure they were sold. At the market Nabila herbs sold fast, she was great full for the garden they had here. The sound of footsteps came to a halt, and Kaage glanced up at one of her civilians. The woman's red hair caught her attention first, this must be the one called Aslyn. If she could remember right, this civilian didn't like life here. Moving ahead a few steps, Kaage smiled and bent her head to acknowledged her. "Aslyn. Seems to me that you have been feeding, and from a fresh host. Tell me did you make sure the body was hidden? Or did you leave it for people to find?" If this civilian disturbed the peace Kaage wanted, she would rip her lungs out of her chest.

It surprised her when the leader knew her name and she looked down towards the ground wondering if that was a good or a bad thing. Although Kaage smiled at her, Aslyn felt a bit uneasy about it all. Perhaps it was the way she’d worded the question or perhaps the guild that she had in fact left the body in plain sight, but no matter what it was she suddenly felt nervous when facing the leader for some inexplicable reason.
“I hid it,” she lied, turning her head slightly to the side to test the waters, wondering if Kaage would be able to tell the difference or not. After all she could always go back and hide the body later before anyone ever found out.
Then again she certainly enjoyed being recognized and feared by the other groups.
Straightening herself up, she decided to tell Kaage the truth. “I left my mark,” she admitted with a sigh as she informed Kaage. “If any trouble arises they’ll know that it was me, but I refuse to hide who and what I am.” Realizing that what she said might have been considered disrespectful or even treasonous, she quickly added, “Ma’am,” followed by a courteous bow.

Kaage could tell the woman in front of her was nervous, true most civilians never expected her to know them by name. But Kaage made sure to know each group member, even if it was just by name. There were a few people she had gotten to know, took the time and now enjoy there company. But it was hard to find good company these days, people saw her has a leader not a friend. Aslyn was a little reckless, but used in the right way she may become better then a civilian. If only she would stop putting herself first, she was going to ruin things for Kaage soon. " I do not like lies Aslyn, though you did tell me the truth afterword." Walking past the girl the leader of Nabila stopped at the entrance of the garden, turning she glanced at Aslyn. "You will go back to the body and hide it, I don't want you leaving bodies in the tunnels. This does not mean hide who you are though. Instead of attacking at random though, why not attack those that would harm us? The Taberah seek us out, use us in there experiments and you don't attack them? Just harmless people so you don't have to mess up that hair of yours, or maybe it's your nails you don't want to dirty?" Putting a hand through her long hair, Kaage waited for the woman to answer her.

“You think I seek easy prey?” Aslyn asked, clearly offended by the statement. With a slight pout, she said, “Where’s the fun in that? No way. I prefer a challenge and an active chase. It’s no fun if they’re weak or they just lie down and take it. No, ma’am. I enjoy the fighters. The strong tough ones that put up a challenge. I purposely go after the ones that get my hands dirty. It’s not my fault I just have a natural beautiful composition so it doesn’t look like I ever get my hands dirty.” The last statement she said, though it may have sounded somewhat akin to a joke, she said with all sincerity. Aslyn truly was that conceited and self-motivated.
“But I don’t discriminate,” she told Kaage quickly in a serious tone. “I’ll go after anyone and everyone. Taberah, Jabrai, Barin…” She smiled eagerly at the leader with a sparkle in her eyes hoping this would be a satisfactory answer.

With a smile Kaage shook her head and turned away from the woman, wondering what she should do with her. Motioning to a near by Royal, she handed the basket's of herbs to them. "These are to be sold at the market, make sure they find the right person." Watching them walk away, Kaage turned her attention to Aslyn once again. "I agree. There must be some fun in the kill, though why waste energy when there are threats out there. Someone that needs to learn fear, the other groups already know about us. Though the Taberah think we are weak, no one has shown them fear yet." She was going somewere with this, Kaage needed to play her cards right. The more people on her side the better, she would bring Nabila back to glory soon. Everyone would know and fear them, and Nabila would have no real threat. " You should come hunting with me some time, we may have something to learn from one another." She was unsure what Aslyn would say to this, either accept or reject the offer. Though normally when a Leader ask's something, you are better to agree or accept then reject there offer.

“You may call it wasting energy, but I call it practice,” Aslyn said proudly as she lifted her head up high. “If you don’t hunt and you don’t hunt fresh then you’ll lose your skill. You don’t have to kill them all. I only eat when I’m hungry,” she informed her while failing to mention that she was always hungry. “Sometimes it’s just as fun chasing them down and watching them wet themselves,” Aslyn said as she threw her head back with a laugh.
Kaage’s statement took her off guard and the smile on her face was transformed into a look of shock. Aslyn had to look around to make sure that Kaage had been speaking to her. “You want me to go hunting with you?” she blurted out, unsure of what to say. Well really there was only one thing to say when the leader makes a request of you. However she wasn’t entirely sure if she liked the idea of hunting with the Kaage. There were so many things that she did when hunting on her own that would probably be frowned upon when scrutinized by the leader of the Nabila.
And honestly she didn’t even know that Kaage hunted.
“I would be honored,” Aslyn replied with a bow. “I’m sure there are a lot of things I could learn,” she admitted albeit reluctantly. “After all you did earn the title of leader for a reason, right?”

Kaage knew this would catch the woman off guard, it wasn't often for a leader or royal to hunt with civilians. Though Kaage hoped that Aslyn may come to like her, maybe in the future she would fight for her. But only time could tell, she had to know the woman first. What better way to do so then hunt together, when hunger sets in there is nothing holding a vampire back. She would see what Aslyn was really like, but needed to keep her own emotions in check. " I see nothing wrong with hunting together, we both eat the same thing. Besides it can be more fun and entertaining. " She thought about that last question. She could ignore it, but Kaage could care less if she knew more about her. "You do know that most leaders inherit this rank right? I haven't earned anything just yet, though I plan on doing so." She thought for a moment, unsure if this was the right way to go. " Also I'm not leader of Nabila just yet, the Royal people would rather I not say this. They say it makes me look weak, though I could care less. They will find out anyway when there invited to the party, I will then become of age." Looking into Aslyn's eye's, Kaage waited for her to say something.

Nabila politics confused her, but she was quite surprised to find out that Kaage wasn’t actually the leader and in fact had not earned it, but simply inherited it. Aslyn raised an eyebrow on her as she tried to determine how tough she thought this girl was. Now that she thought about it--she didn’t look that tough at all. And she looked young. Too young to know how to be a leader. Then again maybe that was precisely the reason why she wasn’t. Why everyone just pretended that she was.
“So, basically,” Aslyn said slowly as she began to circle around Kaage. “What you’re telling me is that you’re not the leader of Nabila yet? So, right now, you really don’t have any say or control over me or what I do.” Aslyn couldn’t help but laugh at this. Here she was having been so afraid of Kaage because she was the leader when in actuality there was no real reason to fear her.
“All right,” she said, feeling a lot more at ease now that she knew that in all actuality Kaage had no real power until her next birthday. “Don’t worry. I won’t tell the others. I’ll go hunting with you if you want, but until you’re actually the leader, you can’t tell me what to do. And that means I’m definitely not cleaning up that body in the tunnels. Get one of your henchmen to do it.”

Kaage was starting to get bored of this small talk, she needed to get back to her duties. Unlike this civilian people counted on her, she had peoples futures to plan. Taking a few steps toward Asyln, the future leader smirked before shrugging. " No I'm not leader, I don't hide the fact. I still have a few months before I'm of age, though they will fly by I'm sure." Her smile grew, she would keep an eye on this one from now on. As the woman before her refused to clean up her mess, Kaage stopped smiling. Her eye's turned to a light red, though her voice remained calm. " I do no have henchmen. True I have people to do my bidding, but I treat them well. As for you, if you do not clean your mess, you will not be treated as kindly. It's your choice though, hopefully whatever you pick is the right choice." With a slight smile, Kaage nodded her head before turning to leave. She had meetings to attend to, and people to drink from.

Aslyn stared at the girl in defiance, lifting her head up high as she continued to refuse to clean her mess. There was even a small smirk on her face now that she knew Kaage wasn’t the leader. She had no right to order or boss her around. Not yet anyway.
“It is my choice,” she agreed, with absolutely no intention to clean her mess. As Kaage turned to leave, Aslyn spun on her foot to do the same wondering what other things she could get away with doing.
